The Utah Jazz are seemingly a million miles away from making the NBA playoffs, as they have been rebuilding ever since they traded Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert in 2022.
However, they still found a way to generate a bit of excitement for their fans.
On their official Twitter account, they released a hype video for their new uniforms while highlighting the growing popularity of the sport of basketball in Utah.

These uniforms bear a striking resemblance to the ones they wore in the late-1990s and early-2000s that had similar mountain graphics underneath the team logo.
Those teams, of course, featured the veteran duo of Karl Malone and John Stockton, who led them to the NBA Finals in 1997 and 1998.
These days, the best player on the Jazz is big man Lauri Markkanen, who took his game to the next level soon after arriving in the Mitchell trade from the Cleveland Cavaliers two summers ago.
That season, he averaged 25.6 points and 8.6 rebounds a game while making his first All-Star team, and this season, he was at 23.2 points and 8.2 boards per game.
However, there are some rumors that Utah may trade him this summer, perhaps to a team such as the New York Knicks, who are looking for the right second star to turn themselves into legitimate championship contenders.
Utah will have plenty of first-round draft picks for the rest of this decade, and perhaps one or more of them will yield stars they could use to eventually become an elite team once again.
