It is no secret that the NFL is in a better place when Aaron Rodgers is healthy.

He is exactly that heading into the 2024 season after missing virtually the entire 2023 season with an Achilles tear.

If healthy for the whole season, the sky is the limit for both him and the New York Jets.

Rodgers has a chance to make his way up the all-time passing yards leaderboard this season.

He currently sits at 9th all-time with 59,055.

Just ahead of him sits Dan Marino (61,361), Matt Ryan (62,792), Philip Rivers (63,440), and Ben Roethlisberger (64,088).

Of course Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, and Brett Favre round out the top four.

Rodgers would have to go out of his mind to pass the next four legends in front of him this season.

If he ends up playing a few more years, he should definitely make it into the top five with Favre, Manning, Brees, and Brady.

Looking ahead to just this season, it is likely that he could pass both Marino and Ryan

For him to pass Rivers and Big Ben, he would probably need to play at least another year.

Regardless, if he is healthy, he should throw for over 4,000 yards and fill the stat sheet like he always has.

With the likes of Garrett Wilson and Mike Williams out wide, the four-time MVP and Super Bowl champion should be able to make his way closer and closer towards the top five.

But again, the league is a better place with a healthy Aaron Rodgers back.
