The New York Knicks just got significantly better this offseason.

Not only did they add a prime defender and one of the most durable players in the game, but they also added another Villanova player.

They have unmatched chemistry on and off the court, and that’s something that simply cannot be overlooked.

Also, they locked up OG Anunoby for years to come, making sure to keep his elite wing defense there as well.

That’s why Draymond Green admitted he didn’t want to come across them next season.

In the latest edition of his podcast, the Golden State Warriors star predicted that they would be one of the toughest defensive teams in the game, adding that they would be physical and gritty (via The Volume).

“I don’t want to see that team in the regular season because they are going to be playing harder than nobody’s tomorrow”

He claimed that they would be very difficult to beat in the regular season, adding that he wouldn’t be shocked if they wound up getting the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Nonetheless, he just doesn’t see them getting over the hump, stating that they won’t win a ring or make the NBA Finals in the next three years.

Green has been overly critical of the Knicks in the past, so this is far from a surprise.

Perhaps he thinks they just lack the talent to get over the hump or maybe he’s not a fan of Tom Thibodeau.

But as much as he likes this team, he doesn’t see them as a seven-game series kind of team.
