On Sunday, the first-round playoff series between the Orlando Magic and Cleveland Cavaliers ended, with both teams reluctant to back down in a Game 7 winner-take-all scenario at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Ohio.

The Magic appeared to be in control in the first half, with the Cavaliers struggling to keep up with Paolo Banchero and company, who seemed to be determined to win this game and advance to take on the top-seeded Boston Celtics in the second round.

Banchero had arguably the best game of his NBA career, as he finished with a team-high 38 points to go along with 16 rebounds, three steals and two assists.

Unfortunately for the Magic, it wasn’t enough to overcome what star guard Donovan Mitchell had in store for them in the second half, as he helped the team erase Orlando’s 18-point lead and eventually get the win on their home floor to win the series.

With the Cavaliers on their way to victory and on the verge of advancing to face the Celtics in the next round, the crowd at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse started chanting “We want Boston.”

In the end, the Cavaliers were able to get the win behind a stellar performance from Mitchell, who scored a game-high 39 points to go along with nine rebounds and five assists.

With the Cavaliers officially advancing to the second round on Sunday, they’ll have the tall task of trying to take down arguably the best team in the Eastern Conference to punch their ticket to the Eastern Conference Finals and get one step closer to the NBA Finals.
