Free agency has officially begun in the NBA, and several marquee players are already on the move.

This is an exciting time of year for NBA fans, as free agency can help fuel their excitement for the upcoming season, which won’t tip off for several months.

One of the most intriguing free agents heading into the offseason was Paul George.

George was viewed as one of the best players available in free agency, and he was ultimately scooped up by the Philadelphia 76ers.

As one might imagine, George’s absence leaves a substantial hole in the Los Angeles Clippers roster, causing the team to scramble and hope they can find an adequate replacement.

Filling in for George won’t be easy, given his skill level and years of experience.

One player the Clippers are considering is Miles Bridges, as Evan Sidery recently called out on Twitter.

“The Clippers and Hornets have indeed had recent dialogue surrounding a Miles Bridges sign-and-trade, league source confirms,” Sidery said.

Los Angeles is open to acquiring the 26-year-old wing as they continue to retool following Paul George’s departure.

Bridges has found himself with some off-court issues in recent years, which has limited his availability for a struggling Charlotte Hornets squad.

However, he is seemingly cleared to return to the NBA without restriction, which could make him an intriguing option for a team like the Clippers.

Losing George was a devastating blow, to say the least, but if they can replace him with someone of Bridges’ caliber, maybe adding another piece for depth, the Clippers might be able to keep their foot on the gas and keep gaining momentum on the rest of the West.
