The San Antonio Spurs are going to quickly rise up the league standings as they’ve got a bonafide superstar in Victor Wembanyama,

Wembanyama, the 2023 NFL Draft’s No. 1 overall pick, entered the league with sky-high expectations after spending most of his playing career overseas in France.

The Spurs star started off slow in NBA Summer League but quickly proved he was worthy of all the hype and anticipation once the 2023-24 NBA season rolled around as he showed off a versatile skillset on both ends of the floor.

There’s never been a prospect quite like Wembanyama who is a natural paint defender because of his length and size, but is also adept at handling and shooting the basketball.

At 7’3″, there aren’t many players that can successfully guard Wembanyama in a full game because he’s got so many different ways to attack a defense.

Wembanyama has been enjoying his offseason and a clip of him not taking it easy on some kids has been making the rounds on social media via Overtime.

“Wemby showing no mercy vs the kids.”

In the short video, Wembanyama can be seen taking on multiple defenders that he easily steps through for dunks.

The end of the video also shows off his rim protection as he makes a couple of easy blocks on shots that had no chance of getting to the rim.

He looks like he’s having fun playing against the kids, though they shouldn’t feel bad because Wembanyama pulls off the same sort of plays in actual NBA games.
