The Eagles Have Made A Surprising Change On Offense In 2024

11 games into the 2023 NFL season, the Philadelphia Eagles looked like they were well on their way to returning to the Super Bowl in order to avenge their loss against the Kansas City Chiefs the previous year.

Although it wasn’t pretty by any means, the Eagles were doing enough to win games on a weekly basis, be considered a legitimate Super Bowl title contender, and perhaps have the distinction of being the best team in the NFC.

Unfortunately, it all came crashing down in epic fashion for the Eagles with the team losing five of its last six games and looking like a completely different team on both sides of the football heading into the NFL playoffs.

Even though the Eagles still made it into the postseason, they had to go on the road to face Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who were much better than expected without Tom Brady leading the charge.

Unfortunately for Philadelphia, the team’s postseason ended before it really began, with the Buccaneers embarrassingly crushing Jalen Hurts and company, 32-9.

Once the season was officially over for Philadelphia, some drastic changes were needed, and it appears those changes have already taken place on the field, with new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore completely changing the offense for the Eagles, via B/R Gridiron.

Although changing 95% of the offense seems drastic, it was likely necessary to right the ship ahead of the 2024 campaign, which will get underway for the Eagles on September 6 when they will be the home team against the Green Bay Packers at Corinthians Arena in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

It’ll be interesting to see how these changes impact the team and whether the Eagles can bounce back next season.
