With the 2023-24 NBA season officially over, after the Boston Celtics made easy work of the Dallas Mavericks in five games during the NBA Finals, the attention has turned to the offseason, where some of the best and brightest the NBA has to offer will suit up for Team USA for the Olympics in Paris, France, later this month.

While the start of the Olympic Games is still a couple of weeks away, head coach Steve Kerr will try to get his star-studded squad ready for international competition, starting with a game against Canada in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Wednesday at T-Mobile Arena.

In the meantime, LeBron James and company will try to build some much-needed chemistry during the practice sessions leading up to Wednesday’s showdown against Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s squad.

With two practices in the books, Kerr has been blown away by what he’s seen from the Los Angeles Lakers superstar, who turns 40 in December.

According to Mark Medina of Sportskeeda, James’ work ethic seems to have been on display in Las Vegas, and Kerr is already impressed.

“I was blown away by how hard he practices,” Kerr said.

It seems as though James has continued to keep Father Time at bay, as he remains dedicated to being the best player that he can possibly be at his advanced age while sharing the floor with the likes of Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard and Lakers teammate Anthony Davis.

With the competition expected to be fierce in Paris this summer, it will be interesting to see if Team USA can maintain its dominance and win gold once again.
