The Los Angeles Lakers season ended sooner than many anticipated.

After making it to the playoffs as a play-in team, the Lakers were expected to carry their momentum forward and potentially become a dangerous force in the postseason.

While they gave it their best effort against the Denver Nuggets, the Lakers ultimately lost the series in five games.

After the team’s failure to make a deep run, there is a growing belief that the Lakers will make some significant roster changes in the offseason, which could include moving on from LeBron James.

James has been a dominant player throughout his career, but after falling short of another title, he might want to change his scenery, hoping to have a better chance at a title elsewhere.

Despite what the majority of sports media is saying about this situation, however, Robert Horry is under the belief that the Lakers should “run it back,” as he mentioned in a recent appearance on the Dan Patrick Show.

The Lakers have built this team around James and Anthony Davis, who were the team’s best players throughout the year.

They also have players like D’Angelo Russell and Austin Reaves who can make an impact when needed, but for the most part, this team runs through James and Davis.

If one of those stars were to leave, the Lakers would need to effectively reset this team from the ground up, rebuilding for the next few years.

Horry believes they should keep their core together, but it remains to be seen what the team’s plans are moving forward.
