Throughout his stint with the Los Angeles Clippers, superstar forward Paul George has been fiercely loyal to the franchise, as he wants the team to be successful and ultimately win that elusive first championship.

Unfortunately for George, things haven’t gone the way he thought they went after he was traded to the team following the signing of fellow superstar Kawhi Leonard, with the franchise failing to live up to expectations while being marred by injuries every single season.

Despite the Clippers’ shortcomings, even with a star-studded roster that showcases four superstars, George staying with the team for the rest of his career seemed to be the likely outcome.

Still, that stance may change as he’s set to hit NBA free agency later this month.

Apparently, George knows exactly what he wants in free agency and seems open to listening to pitches from other teams, as he may have finally grown tired of things not going right in Los Angeles via Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.

“For sure contributing to winning basketball,” George said. “I mean at this point… It’s not even about… Like people are saying, ‘chasing a championship.’ Like, it’s not that. But it’s playing the right style of basketball is what I’m chasing.”

As of right now, the Philadelphia 76ers seem like George’s most likely destination if he chooses to leave the Clippers in free agency this summer.

The 76ers want to bring in another top player to play alongside stars Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey while having the cap space to do it, meaning George could be headed to Philadelphia before next season.
