The Philadelphia 76ers played hard and almost forced a Game 7 against the New York Knicks on Thursday night.

But the team ultimately fell short, partly because one player was a total no-show.

Tobias Harris scored 0 points, going just 0-of-2 from the field during his 29 minutes on the floor.

On Friday morning, Kendrick Perkins humorously laid into Harris on “First Take,” via NBACentral.

“He asked them if they wanted something from Chick-fil-A before the game, the team told him yes and he came back with a bag full of napkins and straws,” Perkins said.

This was a shockingly poor performance from Harris, who was once seen as a future face of the team.

For the season, Harris averaged 17.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game, shooting 48.7% from the field.

During the playoffs, he has averaged 9 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.5 assists.

Thursday’s game might have been Harris’ last time in a Sixers jersey.

He currently doesn’t have a contract extension and there is a lot of speculation about Harris leaving the team this summer.

A lot of rumors say that he could make his way back to the Detroit Pistons, where he spent three seasons earlier in his career.

If this was indeed his last game for Philadelphia, he left a bad taste in the mouth of fans, who needed a lot more from Harris.

The 76ers lost by only three points so his lack of points is even more painful.

Even a few buckets or free throws could have made the difference and given the team a Game 7.

Perkins isn’t the only person who is laying into Harris on Friday morning.

76ers fans all over the country are really disappointed and let down by what they saw in Game 6.
