One of the more fun and interesting aspects of playing in and watching the NFL for all parties is the jersey numbers.
That, along with their play son the field, is exactly what sets the players apart, other than their actual name.
One team that has recently released the jersey numbers for their rookies is the Miami Dolphins.
Numbers for Miami Dolphins’ 2024 draft class have been released:
Jaylen Wright – #25
Patrick McMorris – #32
Mohamed Kamara – #50
Patrick Paul – #52
Tahj Washington – #82

Former Tennessee running back and 4th-round draft pick Jaylen Wright will wear No. 25.
California 6th-round pick and safety Patrick McMorris will wear No. 32.
Colorado State 5th-round edge-rusher Mohamed Kamara will wear No. 50.
No. 55 goes to former Houston Cougars offensive tackle and 2nd-round pick Patrick Paul.
Late-round Wide receivers Tahj Washington (USC) and Malik Washington (Virginia) will wear No. 82. and No. 83, respectively.
Each of these jersey numbers look completely natural, which is a really neat thing.
Any running back that has a number in the 20s, will always look the part.
A defensive back with the No. 32 is very fitting.
All linebackers that receive a number in the 50s is the right move.
Of course, receivers with jersey numbers in the 80s makes complete sense too.
As it can be seen, the Dolphins have made the right call with these jersey numbers.
It would’ve been a real mistake if they had given their edge-rusher in Tamara No. 82 or their safety in McMorris No. 77.
It will be exciting to see these players make a great impact in their rookie seasons for a true contending team.
This team won 11 games a season ago and was on the cusp of winning the AFC East.
