With the 2023-24 NBA season officially over for the Los Angeles Lakers, the speculation immediately turns to superstar forward LeBron James and his intentions heading into the NBA offseason, as he has a player option with the team and seems to be flirting with the prospect of leaving Los Angeles.

One key component to James’ immediate future is what his son Bronny intends to do, as he has declared for the 2024 NBA Draft but has the ability to return to school if he wants to go in that direction instead.

Bronny did not exactly become a star on the collegiate level while at the University of Southern California, so many people have questioned whether he is talented enough to play in the NBA professionally.

Apparently, if Bronny does, in fact, get drafted, he will most likely be spending a lot of time in the G League in order to improve his skills in hopes of becoming a better NBA prospect, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN via Legion Hoops.

“If he does get picked in the draft, he’d likely spend the season in the G League,” Wojnarowski said.

At this point in time, there’s no telling what LeBron will do nor whether a team is willing to use a draft pick on Bronny if it doesn’t mean that his father will be part of the package.

All signs point to the Lakers brass doing everything they can to keep LeBron in Los Angeles, but it remains to be seen whether their efforts will work and whether they will have to bring in Bronny to keep the superstar in town.
