Anthony Davis Has Honest Admission About Playing With Steph Curry

The Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers have developed a bit of a rivalry in recent times.

Stephen Curry is LeBron James’ nemesis, and as such, there are big headlines every time they come across each other.

Curry holds bragging rights after beating James three out of four times in the NBA Finals.

LeBron, however, can still brag about spoiling his 73-9 season and beating him in the second round of the playoffs two years ago.

That’s why getting the opportunity to play together for Team USA is as unique as it is enriching for both parties.

Notably, that includes Anthony Davis.

Recently, the Lakers star big man admitted that playing with Curry is phenomenal, raving about all the wide-open looks he could get (via NBA & ClutchPoints).

“I’ll tell you what, this guy Steph Curry is phenomenal to play with and I got so many open looks.”

Truth be told, Davis would be perfect for Steve Kerr’s motion offense.

He fits the mold of what the Warriors need on both ends of the floor, as he can anchor their defense as an elite rim protector, run the floor and finish above or below the rim, or even stretch the offense with his shooting.

Perhaps the Warriors should’ve gone after him instead of after LeBron midway through last season, although the chances of getting either of them were always slim.

For now, they’ll just have to settle for playing together in the summer Olympics, and the rest of the world should be in shambles at the prospect of having to stop Curry on the perimeter while Davis is doing his work in the restricted area.
