The 2024 NFL season is still a few months away, but with training camp slowly approaching the excitement is steadily rising for the new year.

The 2023 NFL season ended with the Kansas City Chiefs going back-to-back as Super Bowl champions, but this year there are even more teams with a case to win it all.

The San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, and Philadelphia Eagles loom in the NFC while the AFC features a bevy of contenders like the Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, and Cincinnati Bengals.

All of those teams and more will attempt to knock off the Chiefs, but that is easier said than done when Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes, and Travis Kelce are on the other sideline.

However, some other teams might not be getting as much attention as they should be and Gordon McGuinness noted some of them, via PFF.

He named the Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles Chargers, Seattle Seahawks, and Tennessee Titans as the most “overlooked” teams heading into the season.

The Browns are certainly being overlooked given they made the playoffs last season despite missing several key players on both ends of the field.

Meanwhile, the Dolphins saw their offense stifled by Kansas City in the postseason but they doubled down on that side when they brought in Odell Beckham Jr. and drafted Jaylen Wright.

The Chargers let go of Keenan Allen and Austin Ekeler, but new head coach Jim Harbaugh seems to already have a clear idea of how he wants to run the team.

Same goes for the Seahawks, who have a new head coach in Mike Macdonald, while the Titans added Calvin Ridley and L’Jarius Sneed in free agency.
